About ObeyBrew
OBEYBREW is a term coined by Arkhan of Aetherbyte Studios. It refers to any homebrew game for NEC's classic consoles. It is based on a forum meme started by Tatsujin on PC Engine FX. OBEY, in our context, simply means to play PC Engine games. This site was developed by Nodtveidt of Frozen Utopia and Eponasoft.The purpose of ObeyBrew.Com is twofold: to showcase releases and projects for the PC Engine, TurboGrafx-16, SuperGrafx, and PC-FX, and to fully document the hardware and development processes for these machines.
